Questions:
1. Could you please define graphic designing in your own words?
Graphic Design for me is re-design old things or things that look bad, things like a logo of a product, a traffic-signal, bad publicity. Also, graphic design is create new things, new ways to transmit a message by graphics, maybe create thing that make the people stop, look and result interesting for their.
2. What influenced you to pursue graphic designing?
The reason why I choose to study graphic design is because I like to draw, I like create new things, I like to work with publicity, choose colors, combinate colors, and everything that I can see and transmit a message.
3. Could you please describe the educational process required to become a graphic designer?
To become a graphic designer, you have to study how to draw, not perfect, but adequate to present ideas in a paper like a first design or sketch. You have to learn how to work with the programs of graphic design like Photoshop, Freehand an others that is used in the actually to create things and look better. Also you have to know some techniques of painting, printing and others.
4. What are some of the skills that are involved when designing?
I think draw because you have to present your firsts ideas, combination of colors, study of the forms, be creative, try to think in something new, know about the programs of graphic design.
5. What job considerations were you looking for after you completed your education?
I consider work in a important magazine or newspaper, maybe I would like to build my own company with friends of my career, but definitively I would like to work in a publicity agency.
6. What's something in your student life that you enjoy the most?
I enjoy the process when you create things, I like to draw so I like to put my ideas in a paper, too and then work it in the computer
7. What is the most difficult aspect of graphic designing?
I think is the time because you need time to think, to have ideas, a good idea that surprise the people, so then you have the idea you need time to work that idea like painting or copy in the computer and change it, like the color, the forms and else, and that take time.
8. What are your plans for the future?
I think looking for a job here or in other countries in a publicity agency… I hope that I ´ll found someone… and maybe I continue study in a some post-grade in publicity and marketing.
9. Point out your most personally gratifying moment in graphic designing.
I think is when you see your work done or finish this moment you see how every part of the composition become in one, how about the combination of colors, the forms, the harmony, this is when you see how much you evolve your abilities in this career.
10. Why would you recommend graphic designing as a career?
I recommend graphic designing as a career because everything that we see have design, every car, every table, every chair, every product was an idea in a paper that later become real. Also graphic design is a vehicle to transmit and communicate ideas and thoughts by graphics.
